The teaser feels like cotton candy. It’s so light and pretty to look at. Once you bite into its fluffy sweetness there’s really nothing much left of it but sugar. But the rush you feel is real. It may be fleeting yet it brings out a certain joy and awe just like the very first time you had your first cotton candy as a child. It gives a spring to your step and a smile on your lips. And this is exactly how I felt watching it.
The trailer focused on a possible love triangle among Yoon Eun Hye (Mi Rae)-Lee Dong Gun (Kim Shin)-Jung Yong Hwa (Park Se Joo) which could spike interest among the viewers. Throw in a feel good “All You Need is Love” background music and a time travelling older self pretty much sums up the core story.
KBS‘s new Monday-Tuesday drama Marry Him If You Dare/Future Choice will have it’s first broadcast on October 14 replacing Good Doctor which was a constant ratings leader even breaching the elusive 20%. Presumably the pressure is on for MHIYD team. If they can’t hold the fort or even surpass it, it can only mean the drama is not good enough or the competition is better. However, I have a good feeling about this one. I’m crossing my fingers including my toes for everything to fall into place. I have long waited for a romantic-comedy series which can take me so high and twist my gut so good that it hurts, but in a good way! Like those dramas of yore; Lovers in Paris, Full House, My Name is Kim Sam Soon, and Yoon Eun Hye’s The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince. Let this be IT!
