Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye Shares First Kiss

SBS shared some treats today well ahead of the holloween celebration. It shows Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) and Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye)  sharing their first kiss at the school’s rooftop. Did I just hear a collective yell? ‘Must be my imagination. It looks like Kim Tan is moving in for the kill! Way to go boy, who looks hot in a high school uniform. Until now Kim Tan has only watched Eun Sang from afar not revealing how he truly feels. They have been constantly bickering and he’s been acting like a jealous boyfriend. But with these stills, it only means that things are about to change as Kim Tan confesses his true feelings. How would she react?

On the downside, I just had to say this. We got to admit that he looks kinda old for a high school student and so with the others. I still think it would have been better in a university setting though. But then again, if the vampires at Mystic Falls can pull it off, then I say why the heck can’t they? On with Boys Over Flowers..err…I meant The Heirs.

Do enjoy!

“The Heirs” Drops Squeal-Worthy Stills of Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye in School Uniform

For those who’s familiar with my blog, you may have noticed that I haven’t been writing about this drama even though I have waited for this like “forever”.  The reason is simple. Yes, I have been watching it religiously and is updated about everything and anything that concerns it but…I don’t want to write a recap nor a review about it. Honestly, when it comes to this drama I feel that my mind is somewhat bogged. I don’t know why. But I’m with you in squealing, spazzing, waiting, and all other imaginable teen-related driven emotion, though I’m no teen.

Anyway, SBS is playing Santa Claus these days  and dropped these set stills from the Mapo-dong area in Seoul where the shoot took place. An “idol-looking” Lee Min Ho (Kim Tan) decided to drop by the high school to pick up Park Shin Hye (Cha Eun Sang). And here I thought he just wanted to show off his fab ride and runway outfit. Aww!

What’s In The Bag?

Bagging it!

Check out some Korean celebrities’ bags must-haves.

They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend but I don’t think so. A bag is! Can you imagine going anywhere without a bag? It could be anything from a satchel to a duffel, a clutch or a hand bag, an envelope bag or a hobo. No girl can leave home without it. Personally I call it an “armory”.

Who wore it better — Suzy VS Park Shin Hye

I always tell myself that I wouldn’t be caught dead in the same outfit at the same event. But for celebrities sometimes it can be difficult.  One day one star is wearing an time and the following day or week or even month, another star would be wearing the very same item.  That is not the problem though. What matters is how you “rock” it.

The items in focus is a classic white shirt and an a line black skirt. Who wore them?

PARK SHIN HYE at a press conference for her latest drama Those Who Want to Wear the Crown, Withstand the Weight, The Heirs (SBS)  which was held yesterday.

Park Shin Hye

The belt is too big and too clunky. The shoes are great but not suitable and the shirt is just a tad long.

Suzy

The length of the skirt is just short enough to be sexy. The shirt is just the right size with just the right amount of accessories. And the open toed black pumps are perfect.

Needless to say, Miss A’s Suzy has got this one in the bag. Overall she just looks well put together. I would personally like to copy this style.

The Heirs, Medical Top Team: Face Off Begins This Week!

There hasn’t been a day quite like this in recent months were two highly anticipated dramas are set to go head-to-head and the face off begins on Wednesday. A pilot is very important for all TV stations for it’s were a fanbase can be established and that is why networks pour in a lot of their resources to hype a show. But that does not guarantee ratings success.Sometimes the pilot is so good but due to poor storyline, viewers lose interest. On the other hand, it can have a decent enough premiere and then go higher and higher because of strong character portrayals, OTP’s chemistry and a solid story. Everything must be in sync. Unfortunately, we can watch only one at a time but thank God for technology we can watch them all simultaneously. Yet we must choose a “first”. Which is it gonna be?

On the left corner– The Heirs (SBS) which I consider an “idol” drama frontlined by today’s hottest and should I say best looking Korean stars, Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin, Kang Min Hyuk, Krystal, Kim Ji Won, Choi Jin Hyuk. It is about the lives of the rich and famous (think Boys Over Flowers) and the poor girl who gets caught in the mix. Mainly a drama for the youth but we all know that they are a force to reckon with and I know that this one’s got their vote.

On the right corner– Medical Top Team (MBC) which is a hospital drama about a group of experts in their respective field coming together to form the best medical team in the country. A combined cast of seasoned actors and newbies including Kwon Sang Woo, Jung Ryeo Won, Joo Ji Hoon, Oh Yeon Seo, MinHo, Kim Ki Bang, Kim Young Ae et.al. If you are not satisfied with Good Doctor and thirsts for another medical drama, then this one is for you. If you have seen the movie “Pain/통증” and still want some Kwon Sang Woo and Jung Ryeo Won, then you can have your fill in this drama for sure.

As for me, I’ll be watching The Heirs. Why? Well, because I want to see LMH and PSH macking that is! Seriously, I have been watching a whole bunch of wuxia series and would like to have a lighter, feel good drama for a change.

I wonder which drama will come out the victor? That, we’ll have to wait and see.

P.S.

I actually thought today is Wednesday and just now realized that it’s Monday. I was actually waiting for the dramas to begin but instead it’s another show. Talk about excited! Oops, blooper!

Kim Woo Bin Hops on a Motorcycle for “The Heirs”

With only a few days left before its pilot, Those Who Want To Wear the Crown, Withstand the Weight, The Heirs/ 왕관을 쓰려는자, 그무게를 견뎌라-상속자들 stars are all busy filming. Lee Min Ho is seating-in in some American University trying his best to learn some business sense or at least that’s what his character in the drama, Kim Tan is trying to do, Park Shin Hye juggles her homework with her day job and daydreams by the seashore looking pretty. Kim Woo Bin on the other hand, is the “king of cool”, sitting on a motorbike looking like a modern-day knight in shining armor. The actor along with co-star Kim Ji Won were snapped by they’re Chinese fans recently filming some scenes for the drama.

It is interesting to note that before School 2013, both Kim Woo Bin and Lee Jong Suk were just “relatively” popular but after their “bromance” on screen which made many ajumas go ga-ga. Now, even their personal lives are under scrutiny. Recently, Kim Woo Bin admitted his relationship with model-girlfriend. I’m pretty sure a lot of hearts were broken and ajumas are cursing the very existance of that pretty girl. I’m not one of them I swear! I think he’s aight. That is all.

The anticipation for this drama is high specially with the younger demographics, undoubtedly because of the good looking cast. Although that very same theory didn’t quite work for To The Beautiful You. I will surely check it out on October 9 if only to see how it matches up to Boys Over Flowers. I will reserve my opinion till then.

“Medical Top Team” Increases Anticipation as More Stills are Revealed

mtt

The Kwon Sang Woo-Jung Ryeo Won-Joo Ji Hoon top billed hospital drama is upping their game as MBC releases more stills for their next drama which will premiere October 2nd on its Wednesday and Thursday block replacing the currently airing Two Weeks.

Over the other side of the fence, (KBS) Good Doctor is enjoying the ratings lead (albeit not solidly) which happens to be a hospital drama as well. Which means that two hospital dramas are going toe-to-toe from next month. But I suppose it’s a wise choice for MBC to pit Medical Top Team against Good Doctor with the latter almost nearing it’s finale. But after that Medical Top Team will be squaring off against the highly anticipated Lee Min ho-Park Shin Hye headlined drama The Heirs (or Heritors is you must) which is set to premiere October 9th on SBS. It will be very interesting to see which one comes out on top, but I get ahead of myself.

MTT is not short on idols as “the other” Min Ho from Shinee joins the cast along with Oh Yeon So, Ahn Nae Sang, Kim Yeong Ae et. al.
